MEET THE ARTIST
It's a funny thing when you trip and stumble, but sometimes, just sometimes, it's into a vibrant and fulfilling career. I started my apprenticeship in Bowling Green, OH in 2011 when I joined a friend of mine who went in for a tattoo and, when the conversation got dull, I went to make the artist laugh. One thing led to another and I was walking in for my first day of the rest of my life.

I've always been interested in art, and tattooing seemed like the perfect opportunity to create on a daily basis, while specifically working with people everyday. One of the greatest benefits I've found about the industry is not only to connect with so many people and all of these amazing stories, but to also help people who use body art as a way to feel more confident about themselves. It's a very cool feeling.

I hopped around NW Ohio for a number of years, in a number of shops, and picked up all I had learned and moved to Augusta, GA in the summer of 2019. New environment, new opportunity. After working for about two and a half years, and helping to expand the team, I took over the studio I was working in and opened up Moth & Magpie Tattoo Studio in January 2022.

With quality art, and client experience at the forefront of my mind, and some phenomenal artists on my team, we got to really hone in and specialize in our given styles. You can ask me anytime for Blackwork, Neotraditioinal, and Art Nouveau inspired work, and you'll make for a very happy tattoo artist. In the mean time, traveling to conventions, guest spots, or working at home, we have an opportunity to change the world, one tattoo at a time.
